While STD rates are on the rise across the country, rates in Saratoga County, including those in the city of Wilton, have remained fairly consistent from 2016 to 2018
In fact, chlamydia and syphilis (primary and secondary) rates have actually dropped over this three-year period. The number of new chlamydia cases fell slightly from 549 cases in 2016 to 547 cases in 2018, while the number of syphilis cases decreased from 7 newly reported cases in 2016 to only 2 cases in 2018.
