Pasco County recorded 46 HIV infections at a rate of 8.7 per 100,000 persons in 2019. The cases had slightly reduced from the preceding year which had recorded 52 cases at a rate of 10.0 per 100,000 individuals.
In 2019, Chlamydia cases were 1,741 at a rate of 330.3 per 100,000 persons. That was a significant increase from the recorded 1629 cases at a rate of 314.1 per 100,000 people in 2018.
Gonorrhea cases were also on the rise from 2018 to 2019, with the records showing 434 infections at a rate of 83.7 per 100,000 population and 518 infections at a rate of 98.3.
Syphilis count in 2019 was 118 new infections at a rate of 22.4. The cases had significantly increased from 75 at a rate of 14.5 per 100,000 persons recorded in 2018.
