The department officials noted an increase in the number of Chlamydia infections reported in the county over the years. In 2017, 68 cases at a rate of 388.4 per 100,000 population were recorded, and 73 cases at a rate of 413.8 in every 100,000 people were reported in 2018.
The department officials also recorded an average of 74 new Gonorrhea cases at a rate of 83.9 between the years 2012 and 2016.
