Howard County reported 352 cases of chlamydia in the year 2016, the rate of such infections was 426.6 (per population of 100,000) an increase since the previous year. Which saw 303 cases at a rate of 366.9.
Instances of chlamydia have increased gradually over the last four years since 2016, 233 cases were reported in 2012, 235 the next year and 273 in the year 2014. It can be interpreted that this increase started in 2013-2014, when chlamyida cases rose from 235 to 273. Cases then began to increase from 2014 onward at a faster rate.
The citizens of Howard County also reported 125 cases of gonorrhea in 2016, at rate of 151.4 per 100,000. The year prior 67 cases were reported. The number of gonorrhea cases has grown steadily since 2012, which reported 61 cases, and 64 in the year 2013.

STD testing may be offered at a Planned Parenthood in your neighbourhood. There is one located in Indianapolis, on Georgetown Road. Another location close by is Lafayette Health Center on Mezzanine Drive. There is also the Matrix LifeCare Center in Lafayette, also located on Mezzanine Dr.
Another option to consider might be the Howard County Health Department, located in Kokomo on Mulberry St.
