And Clark County is among the 20 most sexually diseased counties in the nation. Health officials recommend using protection, getting tested regularly, and making sure any potential partners have been tested.
Between 2016 and 2017, syphilis, gonorrhea, and herpes all went up. In 2018, 429 per 100K people had chlamydia, and 98 per 100K had gonorrhea. Syphilis diagnoses rose sharply between 2007 and 2015, with 11.7 per 100K people in Clark County in 2015.
