Stuarts Draft, VA, is a census-designated place in Augusta County and is home to 11,380 residents based on the US census of 2020.

In 2019, three people at a rate of 4.0 were diagnosed with HIV in Augusta County, an increase from the two HIV cases reported in 2018 at a rate of 2.7.

Chlamydia incidences denoted a downward trend. In 2020, new Chlamydia cases were 195 at a rate of 258.1, a slight decrease from the 210 diagnoses found in 2019 at a lower rate of 277.9.

In 2019, 69 Gonorrhea cases at a rate of 91.3 were discovered, which later rose to 80 infections at a rate of 105.9 in 2020.

To counter the HIV/STD morbidity, the Augusta County Health Department has strengthened its HIV prevention strategies. It is also improving its linkage and retention in care services to enhance HIV medication usage.
