Shawangunk is a town in Ulster County. In recent years, the county has shown fluctuations in the HIV prevalence rate, with an increase from 687 per 100,000 individuals recorded in 2016 to 702 in the following year, before a 14.7% decline to 599 in 2018 and 2019.
