In 2018, Chlamydia infection cases were 1,623 with a rate of 314.7 per 100,000 population. Women aged 18 to 25 were the most infected having 40 percent of the total infections.
In the same year, primary and secondary Syphilis recorded 17 infections with a rate of 3.3 per 100,000 individuals. Nevertheless, the infections had reduced from the previous year which recorded 25 instances with a rate of 4.7 per 100,000 population.
Gonorrhea infections were 434 with a rate of 83.7 per 100,000 individuals in 2018. It was noted that 60 percent of the recorded cases were male.
