Located west of Atlantic City, Northfield is a city in Atlantic County. The county’s HIV surveillance reports showed a decrease in HIV diagnoses between 2019 and 2021.
In 2019, there were 34 new cases rated at 15.2 per 100,000 respondents while 2021 had 28 new infections rated at 11.9.
Conversely, there was a rise in new Chlamydia cases between 2020 and 2021. The former year had 1,333 new Chlamydia incidences with a rate of 486.2 while 2021 had 1,353 cases rated at 492.1.
