Other locations where STD testing may be offered are Baylor College of Medicine Teen Health Clinic (Tejano Center Clinic) on Broadway as well as the Harris Health System (Gulfgate Health Center) on Office City Drive.
In addition, the Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast Incorporated (Prevention Park Health Center) on Gulf Freeway is also a good option for STD testing in the area.
Other facilities in the area may offer free STD testing but these locations may offer limited testing or fail to offer comprehensive STD testing. Plus, many of these locations have long waitlists and the hours that may be limited.
Furthermore, walk-in services may not be available and people who test positive for an STD may not have access to a doctors consultation or medication. Also, some locations may not offer the option to schedule appointments in advance and there may be upfront fees.
