Introduction

What are the STI test options in Sonoma,CA?

Located in Sonoma County, Sonoma city reported 1,430 HIV incidents in 2020 at a rate of 331, which went up by one case to 1,431 cases in 2021 at a rate of 332.

Sonoma is one of the principal cities. Individuals with primary and secondary Syphilis amounted to 12 at a rate of 2.4 in 2010, while those with Early Latent Syphilis summed to 2 at a rate of 0.4.

In 2010, the number of people with Gonorrhea was 97 at a prevailing rate of 19.6. African-American women with Gonorrhea were six while men were 3. Whites men and women diagnosed with Gonorrhea were 9 and 17, respectively.

The principal city in Sonoma County had 1,180 Chlamydia incidents, prevailing at a rate of 332.2 in 2010. Out of the total Chlamydia cases, 70.4 percent were female, while 29.5 percent were male. The highest prevalence was in women aged 20 and 24 years, at a transmission rate of 1,917,9 in 2010.

Sonoma County Health Services Department runs a HIV/AIDS and STD Prevention Program that coordinates and evaluates HIV prevention activities to lower the rate of HIV and STI transmission. The public health department provides mobile testing locations for residents in remote areas to access confidential and anonymous HIV and Hepatitis C testing.

Many medical centers in Sonoma city, including Planned Parenthood - Santa Rosa Health Center and Sonoma Valley Hospital, provide low-cost or free STD testing services. However, doctors may not be available for consultations and hours, and the availability of the STI services might not be consistent.

You can also opt for Sonoma Specialty Hospital or Sonoma Valley Community Health Center for STD testing, treatment, and partner services that prevent re-infections.
