STD rates, including chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis, have been steadily increasing in communities throughout Montgomery County, including Gaithersburg, MD.
In fact, chlamydia rates in Montgomery County rose by more than 9 percent from 2017 to 2018, as the number of reported cases went from 4029 in 2017 to 4410 in 2018.
