You can travel ten miles east into San Jose to find several other medical centers that might offer STD or HIV testing, such as The Crane Center, RealOptions Orbia of San Jose, Planned Parenthood – San Jose Health Center, and Billy DeFrank LGBT Community Center.
Many of these clinics may state that they offer free STD testing, but it’s important to know that not all tests may be free and comprehensive testing may not be available. In addition, some locations don’t have a doctor on staff, so you may have to go to a second location for treatment.
