Colonia is a census-designated place located within Woodbridge Township, in Middlesex County. Over the past few years, the county has experienced relatively constant HIV prevalence rates; however, there was a slight increase from 1,966 in 2014 to 2,121 in 2017, followed by a slight decrease to a rate of 1,993 per 100,000 individuals reported in 2020.
Chlamydia cases in Woodbridge Township increased from 181 in 2015 to 262 recorded in 2019. Females aged 15 to 24 years registered the highest number of infections.
