Introduction

What are the STI test options in Batavia,IL?

Batavia, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago in both DuPage and Kane Counties is under threat from the same STD outbreak that’s plaguing the city.

In 2015, DuPage county reported 2,382 new cases of chlamydia, and two years later, in 2017, it jumped to 2,495. Also in 2015, Kane County had 1,848 new infections, and by 2017, it increased to 2,037.

Gonorrhea diagnoses are going up with DuPage reporting 307 new cases in 2015 rising to 451 in 2017. Kane County had 321 infections in 2015 and 468 in 2017.

In 2015, DuPage County listed 22 primary and secondary syphilis diagnoses, and in 2017, there were 25 new cases. Kane county’s syphilis infections were lower, with 12 in 2015 and 19 in 2017.
