The county had a decline in the number of gonorrhea cases reported in 2018 in comparison to the previous year. Statistics in 2018 showed 416 cases at a prevalence rate of 80.7, while those of 2017 indicated 468 cases at a prevalence rate of 90.8.

Early syphilis cases reported in 2017 were 42 at a prevalence rate of 8.2. The count slightly diminished by one to 41, with new infections occurring at a prevalence rate of 8.0 in 2018. 

The county noted a slight increase in the number of primary and secondary syphilis cases recorded in 2018, which were 21 cases at a prevalence rate of 4.1 compared to 19 cases at a prevalence rate of 3.7 reported in 2017.
